Legal stuff (read this first!)

By submitting payment, you agree to the terms set henceforth.  A copy of these terms will be e-mailed to registrants and will be made available upon request on the day of the tour.

Payment is submitted to the tour organizer in exchange for access to the private train and his services as the event organizer and host/historian.

This tour is not sponsored by the CTA (but they are our gracious hosts and we love them for it).  The tour will be conducted on CTA property.  Please be sure to leave room on platforms and in stations for regular CTA riders to get through--we cannot interfere with regular service.

You agree that the organizer of the tour, Tony Coppoletta, is not responsible for loss or damages to person or property of any kind.  Bring your personal belongings with you when you leave the train and use due caution at stations and on station platforms.

The schedule is tentative and may change.  Any changes will be announced promptly, and tickets will be refunded upon request in the event a major change occurs.

You agree to follow the instructions of the train crew, tour staff, and the policies for conduct and safety as set by the Chicago Transit Authority while on the tour.  You agree to leave the train clean and undamaged.  Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not allowed on CTA property (tourgoers will be invited to come have a drink after the tour, near the final stop of the tour).

Washroom breaks will not be scheduled during the tour due to limited facilities on CTA property, but there are restaurants near the tour's starting point and bars near where we let off.

Because the train is on a strict schedule, we can't hold the train at a station in the event someone wanders off and becomes separated from the group.  Stay with the group at all times to make sure you don't get left behind.  Your ticket fee will not be refunded if you wander off and miss the train.

For your safety, do not lean against the train doors, do not change cars while the train is in motion, and be sure to stand clear of platform edges (as generally indicated on station platforms by the blue, tactile edging).  Your safety is important.

Cancellations must be submitted at least three days in advance of the tour in order for your registration fee to be refunded.

We will cut off ticket sales as soon as we are aware we reach our intended capacity, which we expect to happen VERY quickly.

Questions should be directed to Tony Coppoletta.
